INVITED CONTRIBUTION TO NATIONAL ACADEMY OF ENGINEERS BRIDGE ISSUE ON CLEAN GeoH₂

Providing Unique Expertise on the Role of GeoH₂ in a Clean H₂ Future

Congratulations to AGH Team Members Geoff Ellis, Humberto Reis, and Qingwang Yuan who have been invited by the National Academy of Engineering to prepare a perspective article on geological hydrogen on behalf of AGH for a 2027 Spring special issue of the BRIDGE focused on Clean Hydrogen.

The Bridge publishes opinion and analysis on engineering research, education, and practice; science and technology policy; and the roles of engineering and technology in society; with the intent to inform and stimulate debate and dialogue on important topics to our Nation.

Clean hydrogen has been identified by scientific experts as an important tool in efforts to secure a clean and secure energy future for the Nation and the World, and inclusion of a perspective on geologic hydrogen in this prestigious publication will certainly raise awareness about the significant opportunities and challenges in exploiting subsurface hydrogen as a game-changing potential primary energy resource.
