Eric Miller Bording Announcement

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Eric Miller has officially assumed the role of Executive Director of the Association of Geological Hydrogen (AGH) starting from July 2025.

Dr. Miller brings exceptional expertise and visionary leadership to AGH. Formerly the Chief Scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Technologies Office, he has played a key role in shaping national hydrogen strategies and advancing scientific and technological progress across the hydrogen ecosystem.

His appointment marks an important milestone in AGH’s mission to establish GeoH₂ as a primary energy source. Under his leadership, AGH will continue to:

• Advance the frontiers of GeoH₂ science and technology by unlocking the potential of subsurface hydrogen systems through improved knowledge and data sharing.

• Promote STEM education and workforce development in the emerging field of subsurface hydrogen systems.

• Strengthen the global GeoH₂ community and ecosystem by fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and government stakeholders.

We welcome Dr. Miller to this key leadership position. With his guidance, AGH is ready to accelerate progress towards a future where the next primary energy source lies beneath our feet.
