From August 18 to 21, 2025, the Association for Geologic Hydrogen (AGH) took part in the Geologic Hydrogen Summit 2025, hosted by the Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI) in collaboration with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
This high-level event served as a major gathering point for the U.S. natural hydrogen ecosystem, bringing together key stakeholders from across the sector. Participants included representatives from industry leaders, national research laboratories, the Department of Energy (DOE), and the Department of Defense (DOD), underscoring the growing national and strategic importance of hydrogen as a clean energy resource.
During the summit, Dr. Qingwang Yuan, Co-Founder and President of AGH, formally introduced the Association to this distinguished audience. He presented AGH’s mission and long-term vision, highlighted the expertise of its multidisciplinary team, and outlined the ongoing projects that aim to advance knowledge, innovation, and collaboration in the field of geologic hydrogen.
AGH’s participation not only reinforced its role as an emerging voice in the global hydrogen community but also opened doors for future partnerships, research collaborations, and policy discussions with major U.S. institutions and stakeholders.
